Dear Team, I am pleased to inform you that the Dynamic Public Library (DPL) web app has been successfully deployed and is now live! The web app is fully operational, and members can access it via our official website: dpl.org.np. Key Features for DPL Members: Program Posting: All DPL branches across Nepal can now post their respective program details, including descriptions, images, and program coordinator information. This helps to keep everyone informed about upcoming events and activities. User Authentication & Dashboard: Members can now register, log in, and manage their profiles. Each member has a personal dashboard, where they can track their posts, view statistics, and interact with other members. Discussion Forum: The forum section is live! Members can now participate in discussions, open threads on various topics, and share insights. We have multiple categories to facilitate different types of conversations. Program Management: Each branch can manage its programs independently by posting updates and engaging with members. This feature helps ensure that all activities are up-to-date and easily accessible. Responsive Design: The web app is fully responsive, providing an optimized experience for members on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Profile Features: Users can personalize their profiles with avatars, bios, and statistics, and track their activity across the site. Special titles and badges are awarded based on post counts and participation. Security and Performance: The app has been optimized for performance and security, ensuring a fast and safe browsing experience for all members. Important Actions Required: Create User Accounts: All team members, including chapter leaders and national team presidents or secretaries, should create their user accounts on the platform. Note for President and Secretary: Once your account is created, please let me know at admin@dpl.org.np, so I can provide you with access to update branch information and programs for your respective teams. Utilize the Discussion Forum: Please start utilizing the discussion forum by creating topics, posting updates, and engaging with other members. This will help to keep the forum active and foster interaction across all branches. Next Steps: We are now in a continuous improvement phase. Please feel free to explore the app and provide feedback or suggestions. The next phase of development will focus on expanding the Library Management System (LMS) and improving the Forum Features. More updates will follow.
